DMIIS Upper Secondary adopts Pearson Edexcel iGCSE and A levels, academic qualification programme for students aged 13-21, that provide students the best opportunity develop along their learning journey, such as enabling independent learning, collaborative activities and developing thinking skills.

DMIIS Upper Secondary encourages students to be actively participating in the class discussion by the whole of their abilities to think critically and responsible for their progress. We also strengthen students Islamic value to build up their Iman toward Allah SWT.

The goal is producing a young generation which is nationalist with an international standard competence as well as the akhlaq (attitude) and morality based on Islamic values which in the end create them to be independent yet creative.

We have some daily routines based on the teaching of Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammad SAW, those are Dhuha/Dzuhur Prayer, Tahfeez which they have to memorize surah at each level such as Surah Al-Waqiah, Al-Mulk and Ar-Rahman and Friday general class for female students . We also celebrate Islamic event such as Maulid Nabi and Isra Mi’raj.

DMIIS Upper Secondary provides some activities that support students to be creative, independent and think critically. There are two types of subjects at this level. They are core and non-core subjects. Core subjects are Math, English, Two Electives and Non-core subjects are Islamic Studies, Bahasa Indonesia, Citizenship, Physical Education and SNBT Drilling Practices. We have public speaking every Friday before class. Students have a turn to speech in front of audience about the recent topic
